Below is a picture of the building I live in in Gaillard, France.

This is where I lived in Glendale, Arizona, and besides Thunderbird and golf courses there's nothing worth seeing here. This place has about as much character as Keanu Reeves.

This is the view from my balcony.  At first glance, you may think, "Hey, Glendale doesn't seem to suck as much as Greg says!  His apartment is truly in an oasis in the midst of a sea of yellow sand!"  I tried to live that lie too, unfortunately after 7 months, I'm no longer fooled.  Reality check:  The only reason no one is at the pool is because the temperature dropped below 90 that day and the locals went inside to pray for the return of warm weather.  If the temperature is above 90, the pool is subject to yellow tide warnings caused by the battalion of children who live in my complex and apparently have never taken advantage of the wonders on indoor plumbing.
